Bob is an internationally trained orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty expertise in hip and knee surgery.
After graduating from the University of Melbourne, he undertook highly sought-after fellowships in the United Kingdom in lower limb joint replacement surgery and sports surgery of the knee.
He has held faculty positions at the University of Melbourne and Stanford University, California, and continues his active involvement in training the next generation of surgical, medical and allied health professionals.
Bob’s expertise in partial knee replacements has gained international recognition through his research and publications.
He is actively pioneering the development of new hip and knee prostheses and implantation techniques (including robotics), working closely with surgical colleagues and medical device companies.
