Kayla completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy with first-class honours at the Australian Catholic University in 2024, earning numerous Dean’s Commendations from 2022-2024 and the Clinical Excellence Award for achieving the highest average marks across her placements in her cohort.

With a background in elite-level dance, Kayla brings a unique understanding of movement and injury prevention to her practice. She is recognised as an elite classical coach and specialises in pre-pointe assessments for dancers, ensuring they are physically prepared for the demands of their art. Additionally, Kayla has completed her Certificate IV in Mat and Reformer Pilates, which complements her physiotherapy skills by offering a holistic approach to rehabilitation and strength training.

Kayla has a keen interest in research, with experience conducting biomechanical and strength testing, and she is eager to continue expanding her knowledge and contributing to the field.

Kayla’s diverse skill set, commitment to evidence-based practice, and passion for research make her a valuable asset to the Orthosport Victoria Institute and the broader community.
